About Byadgi pods
Byadgi pods are unmistakable: long, wrinkled and a deep crimson that borders on maroon. Kaddi (slender) and Dabbi (broader, higher colour) grades are both available. With pungency below 15,000 SHU and colour values above 100 ASTA, they are bought by colour extractors and by kitchens that want a red gravy without heat.
